In our partnership with theomahazoo, #TEAMTREES and the Madagascar Biodiversity Partnership have planted 400,000 trees. This planting project focused on reversing the deconstruction of forest habitats that are home to critically endangered lemurs found nowhere else on Earth. 🌲 Here are some fun facts about the lemurs that we helped with your donations: ✨ Madagascar is the only place lemurs naturally call home. ​​✨ Lemurs have a female-dominant society. ​​✨ As crucial seed dispersers, lemurs are “creators of the forest”. ✨ Besides humans, lemurs are one of the only primates that have blue eyes. ✨ Some lemurs sing a capella.
