Today's Women Who MAKE interview with NZ-based janedenton_art had me taking a deep dive through my travel photos! Did you see the gorgeous New Zealand landscapes I posted in stories? I can't believe that was 2011. When I went to NZ, I quit a good job, sold almost everything I had, and hoped to god my then boyfriend wouldn't break up me halfway around the world. Turned out: I got engaged, discovered my creative side, and (sort of) conquered my ongoing fear of the unknown 😊I really think the time we took unplugged there contributed in so many ways to my mental health. Not sure the message here, but taking risks and unplugging are a good recipe for more inner knowing, and I guess I just wanted to remind myself (and you too if you made it this far). #newzealand #womenwhomake #innerknowing
