Long post for wellness enthusiasts! Went to a wonderful talk last night on self-care with forthchicago and discussed how it's more than yoga, smoothies, meditation and the like (although those things are great). For me it's about cultivating a deeper connection to myself/yourself and listening to what your mind, heart, body really needs whether that is adding or subtracting from your routine. One way suggested to connect with your feelings on a deeper level, and to raise your energy/vibration is to bring up an awesome positive memory and hold it in your heart and breathe for 30 seconds. My memory today is of being 16, having my license finally feeling free, and singing "Free Falling" at the top of my lungs alone in the car. 😍 What's one of your memories? Happy Friday friends.
