What have I learned from standing on my head? Mostly, that it's fear that hold us back. Fear of falling, fear that we're not good enough, fear of sharing what we're really thinking or feeling. For me, there's usually a tipping point, and I feel it in my gut, my core, there's a physical reaction to the fear, and the moment that you are going to push past it. Tune in for that feeling, and when it's there, and you feel ready (even if you need a metaphorical or real wall at first) dig deep into your core, because before you know it - you will be standing on your head, or standing in your own power. And it feels great! Thanks to my friend evadeitch for capturing this photo, and some more shots of me practicing yoga at home that I'm excited to keep sharing.
