This week is Small Business Week, Canada’s largest celebration of small businesses. Calgary has been through some tough times, but we are resilient and we have a lot of positive things going on in our city.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ We’ve heard from Calgary’s businesses that we need to improve how we support those looking to start, grow and maintain a business in Calgary during these challenging economic times, and we’re acting on this feedback. We are leading the way in several areas.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ • We became the first city in Canada to provide a virtual, one-window approach for permitting, now available online with the support of our live chat.⁣⁣ ⁣ • We are focused on financial relief for the business community.
