Today marks the start of the second annual Gender Equality Week in Canada.⁣⁣ 📷: wilderness.perspektive #cityofcalgary⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ We all have an important role to play in advancing gender equality. As part of the week, we’re partnering with Equal Voice to support young Calgarian female leaders in a forum where they can discuss local issues in a model City Council event through the program She Governs.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ Participants will hear from City councillors and learn about the work City Council and Administration does every day on behalf of Calgarians. It’s an opportunity for them to learn and be inspired to become involved in the formal political sphere in the future. ⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ Follow along in our stories today and learn more about our Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy at calgary.ca/gender (link in bio).⁣⁣ ⁣ #genderequality #genderequalityweek #everyonebenefits #equalvoice #womeninpolitics #womeninpoli⁣⁣ _⁣⁣ _⁣⁣ _⁣⁣ #yyc #yycnow #yycliving #yycbuzz #calgarybuzz #calgaryalberta #calgar...
