📷: royc1031 #cityofcalgary _ We’ve turned bus shelters into gallery walls! 60 shelters along the MAX Orange and Teal lines now feature works from The City’s Public Art Collection, with some pieces dating back to 1938. Twelve more shelters along the MAX Purple now showcase 24 artworks from 13 Calgary artists who live, work or have had a significant connection to the Forest Lawn area. In total, the 72 new shelters feature 130 artworks by 85 artists. The artworks featured include paintings, prints, drawing and photographs from a diverse range of artists and artistic styles, creating a different experience at every shelter.
