Calgary has lost 47 firefighters in the line of duty, nine during active firefighting and 38 from firefighting-related illness. Sadly, the Calgary Fire Department Honour Guard will display another plaque for two more firefighters who recently passed away: Captain Paul M. Baker & District Chief James R Brosh.
