Compost giveaways are on Saturdays in May! We’re offering free compost for residents to pick up on May 5, 12, 19 & 26, 9am–3pm at the Calgary Compost Facility—12111 68 Street SE. Use this compost in your yards and gardens this spring. Things to bring: - shovel - 🧤 gloves - 🛢container to hold compost - 🚚tarps if you're loading into a truck bed Citizens can take up to 100 litres of compost per vehicle. The compost must be shoveled into containers or vehicle (no mechanical equipment is allowed for loading). Vehicles may visit once per day per giveaway date.
