With the 27th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, the Anaheim Ducks have selected Jacob Perreault. ———————— Projection: Top-Six Winger Playing Style: Sniper ———————— Scouting Report: Jacob Perreault lit up the OHL this season, and is an immensely talented player. His biggest asset is his goal-scoring ability. He has the strength, and hands to get to the middle of the ice, and get clean shots off. He’s got a very strong one-timer, and a quick shot from the high-slot. Many people question his skating, although I don’t think it’s as big of a problem as some people make it out to be. He does have a physical element, having the ability to throw some good hits. My bigger concern is that Perreault doesn’t drive play as much as you’d like him to, and plays the game with a passive approach too often.
