With the 16th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, the Montreal Canadiens have selected Kaiden Guhle. ———————— Projection: Top-Four Defenseman Playing Style: Two-Way Defender ———————— Scouting Report: Guhle is another dynamic skater whose skating makes a big impact on zone exits, and through transition. He moves the puck really well, making simple passes, but also the ability to find stretch passes. He has patience with the puck, and has the ability to recognize when offensive opportunities are in front of him. Guhle is very good at getting his shots on net, but his overall offensive upside isn’t super high. I also really like his defensive game. He plays very good gaps and can stop plays in the neutral zone. The Raider has an ability to stop the rush with some good hits all over the ice.
