Byfield has such a rare combination of size, speed, and skill. Those tools alone make him such an intriguing prospect. Byfield has such a powerful stride that he uses to attack in the offensive zone, but also to make a difference on the backcheck. He’s a terrific puck-transitioner who has a tremendous set of hands and dangles to throw at defenders. He’s very creative with the puck and is great at finding passes in the o-zone.
