The Minnesota Wild have signed defenseman Jonas Brodin to a monster seven-year contract extension carrying an AAV of $6 million. Brodin has been an excellent defensive defenseman for the Wild. Advanced analytics say he is one of the best defensive defensemen in the NHL, making this contract very good value.
