CAL SOUTH SUPERSTAR ALUMNI - Born in Fountain Valley, Maricarmen Reyes comes from a family of soccer athletes. In 2015, she helped to lead Mexico to a silver medal at the CONCACAF U-17 Championships, and then to gold at the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. Reyes went on to play as starter for Mexico in all three games at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, and started for Mexico at the 2020 CONCACAF U-20 Championships, helping the team advance to the championship game and earning a U-20 World Cup bid. ⁠ ⁠ Reyes was then called up to Mexico’s National Team for a pair of friendlies in Japan in June 2021, and helped Mexico’s National Team qualify to the 2022 CONCACAF Championship, scoring three goals during qualifying! ⁠ ⁠ WILL YOU BE NEXT?
