Last night, our Athletics Department officially retired the #10 baseball jersey belonging to Sam Selman ‘09. Sam is the first alum in SAS history to be honored, as it is reserved for those athletes who go on to play at the highest professional level of their respective sport. He is currently pitching for the Los Angeles Angels MLB team. The jersey presentation ceremony consisted of speeches from AD Jeff McCrary ‘94, Baseball Program Director Steven Garcia ‘02, and a few words from Sam himself.
