As part of their Day of Engagement this week, ninth graders took part in a day of community action, personal reflection, and class bonding. They began the day with a program run by Courageous Conversation focused on orienting oneself in productive conversations about race. Afterwards, with the help of local nonprofit Mission of Hope, students packed 20,000 nutritious meals to be shipped to resource-limited schools in Haiti.
