Last month, Mr. Mele and his Upper School PARK stewards trimmed branches from the many beautiful oaks they’ve cleared of second-growth cedar. Most of these branches are being recycled/reused to create wildlife habitat structures in a meadow at the far end of The PARK. Today, the kindergarten came out to The PARK to help Mr. Mele put the final branches on the habitats. Fun was had by all & the students made a big contribution to improving habitat and soon birds, bunnies and other wildlife will be settling into their new homes. Mr. Mele would like to thank all his little but capable helpers for a good day’s work on The PARK. #sasaustin #sasservants
