Mrs. Ortman and Religious Studies students took a trip this morning to Sitagu Buddha Vihara, a Burmese monastery in SW Austin. Students participated in a traditional ritual of offering lunch to monks, circumambulating the pagoda, and learning more through conversation with the abbot and monks about Theravada Buddhism. #sasaustin #sasscholars #sasservants
