Yesterday was a busy day of service for the SAS 4th graders! They spent the morning at the ctxfoodbank, helping prepare and organize over 4000 meals. Then, they headed to the PARK on the SWP campus to help Mr. Mele and his PARK stewards spread mulch under a group of oak trees. This is part of a larger project transforming an area of the PARK that will eventually serve as a multipurpose nature center. After all their hard work, they roasted marshmallows and enjoyed s’mores at the campsite at the PARK. #sasaustin #sasservants
