Last month, in the first annual Outreach Central Texas program, our 7th graders spent three days volunteering at non-profits throughout the greater Austin community. Each group focused on a different kind of work, but they all learned valuable skills and knowledge, while experiencing the joy that comes from helping others. They came together each night at Camp Buckner to reflect on and share their experiences, work together on team building activities and have some fun!
