Jeff was a 3 year-letter winner for the 1987-1989 football teams, twice being named First Team All-Southland Conference. After 3 seasons at Texas State, he was drafted in the seventh round of the NFL Draft, and enjoyed a successful career with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Post NFL, Jeff established his own real estate company, Novak Brothers, and returned to Texas State in 2015 to graduated with his degree in Applied Arts. Ever since his playing days, Jeff has been heavily involved with Texas State Athletics. He has been a football season ticket holder for over 15 years, loyal donor of the Touchdown Team, serves as a member of the Texas State University Development Foundation, and is a 2015 Athletics Hall of Honor Inductee.
