It’s never too late to start over and go after your dreams…as hard and daunting as it can seem💫 Many of you guys know that I was married early in my 20’s and became divorced by 25. I didn’t know how everything was going to turn out for me since my life looked very different from my friends and family. What I thought my life would turn out to be was staying married, eventually having kids and settling for a traditional life that every desi family wants their daughter to have…even if they are unhappy and know they are meant for something more💫 I was told to “just make it work” because those were the cards I was dealt and it would be too hard to be divorced and support myself. But I knew I was meant for so much more. And everyday I come back to feeling so much gratitude that I picked the “harder” road and chose myself.
