It’s National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. We’d like to acknowledge our incredible team of Emergency Communications Officers at Calgary 9-1-1 who provide a life-saving service to Calgarians 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 📞 Calgary 9-1-1 receives more than one million calls each year. Before first responders arrive at an emergency, it’s the Emergency Communications Officer who is there helping to gather critical information, reassure the caller, provide instructions and dispatch emergency services.
