Womens Empowerment Network hosted a “Day In” self-care event last week in Lucas Hall to celebrate the end of the semester 🎉 The event focused on self-love and empowerment through showcasing student & staff small businesses and highlighting lessons learned throughout the year. Alametta Hinston, Sophomore Bio-Chem student, presented a “mix and whip” workshop on how to make DIY body butter with materials from her own body care business, ASL Beauty. In addition, Taelor Duncan, Program Coordinator for the UMSL Bridge Program, was also able to present her makeup business, Slay with Tae, by demonstrating a make up tutorial for the women 🚺👭 #WEN #WomenEmpowermentNetwork #UMSL #UMSLProud alamettaasl _slaywithtaellc
