In the summer of 2018, I met each of these remarkably bomb-ass women when Nike asked us all to run our first marathon together. We had no idea what we were getting into. What we were getting into was a life-changing experience that would forge a real sisterhood. (What we were also getting into were a lot of early mornings and chafing in weird places and unspeakable toenail things, but that’s for another post.)
