That’s where the #opticalfiber ribbon attaches to our ILX module, which can transfer over a terabit – a trillion bits – per second using microscopic lasers, making it a thousand times faster than a typical wired #Ethernet connection using much less energy. “What’s neat about this, beyond sheer speed, is that all the components in that module used to be separate parts, which made this technology big, expensive and difficult to service.
