So many options to add more challenge to common exercises. Here the Deadbug is taken up a notch by the addition of the ballast stability ball. The deadbug is an excellent exercise for everyone to learn how to engage their core musculature - internal/external obliques, rectus abdominus, and transverse abdominus. Adding the stability ball increases core and spinal stability and the ballast creates an added challenge as you need to recruit more stabilizer muscles to keep it in place as you move through the exercise.
