The Deadlift = the King of Lifts
Some call deadlifts the king of exercises. They are super functional and the technique you should use when lifting something heavy in everyday life. They are also incredibly beneficial for sports performance, especially sports that require explosive leg strength.
The deadlift will strengthen every bone in your body, challenge every muscle across your posterior chain (all the muscles that run from your neck to your heels) and test your grip strength and core stability.
BUT only if it's done right.
Feet should be hip-width to shoulder-width apart. Lift the bar by driving your hips forwards, keeping a flat back. Lower the bar under control.
