I know it's not Thursday, but I'm thankful for little throwbacks reminding me why I love dance: Eating lunch at Fox Bros BBQ this afternoon, a gentleman approached our table and asked if I had been on Georgia Tech's dance team (gtgoldrush holla). He explained, "I just wanted to let you know that we miss you at the basketball games...my family and I miss seeing your energy and just watching your team's dynamic. You always had such a genuine smile. That's how I recognized you." So it's all kind of funny since I danced my last game in 2014, but this literally made my day...mainly because dance was my first love. Some say Georgia Tech was my second. But I had forgotten how amazing it is to find joy in the middle...
