Here’s a post from one of our own at A&R: “It is appalling to me that the world I live in sees my skin color as a weapon. Over the last few days, I have marched, knelt, laid on the ground, chanted, and so much more to try to make a change in this crazy world we live in, in hopes that once my nephew grows older he doesn’t have to fear for his life due to a traffic violation, my dad doesn’t have to wear a suit all the time so police officers don’t see him as a threat, my sister doesn’t get followed around our white neighborhood, my sister and I don’t get followed around the store. This is not a time to be silent or neutral, we stop this together. No justice, no peace. My life matters, my families lives’ matter.
