Will Strong 💜 ••• On November 25, 2022, a freak accident altered the life of former Lipscomb pitcher Will Blalock. Flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a traumatic brain injury, Will was placed in a coma for two weeks and spent an additional two weeks in trauma and intensive care. Will has battled and spent months re-learning how to speak, walk, and use utensils to eat. Because of Will’s tenacity and the grace of God, Will’s healing continues to this day. Will threw out the ceremonial first pitch last night against Vanderbilt, surrounded by his family, therapy team from Neurotherapy Nashville, and members of the Vanderbilt Medical Staff, including the LifeFlight and Trauma teams.
