Some shots from Friday’s session. The gloomy weather was a great reminder that the summer track season is still a long ways away and there is much work to be done. The workout was a tempo followed by 400 repeats at 5K pace with a <30 second 100m jog. Combo workouts like this are a staple of the Jerry System. They let the athletes get in a lot of aerobic development as well as accumulate running at race pace, without being as intense as true specific sessions. A great building block.
