2019 Top 10 Part 6: Ten Years of the 5K, First Year of Camp ⠀ BTC isn’t just about winning medals and looking great in red. It’s about spreading our love for the sport and building new ways to enjoy it! To that end, this year we inaugurated the Bowerman Running Camp in Bend, OR. We had counselors from our Pro and Elite teams, as well some great NCAA athletes. We ran some great trails, watched some great BTC races, and learned how to cook from Shalane. It was a thrilling experience from start to finish and we can’t wait to see it grow like the Bowerman 5K in future years. ⠀ Speaking of that 5K, our 10th edition was our largest yet! 1,150 runners enjoyed a perfect summer evening on the Nike Campus. Our Elite and Masters teams showed out in the team competitions and we had a bunch of awesome vendors keeping the party going!
