World Championship 10ks are often brutal affairs, and this one was no different. With the Ugandan team pushing at the front early and the Kenyan duo taking over midway, the pace was hot and unrelenting. 8:08 through 3K (about 8:40 for 3200), 13:33 through 5K. Through it all Moh and Lopez were there in the middle of the pack, working together and staying smooth. Each of them negative split and came home with personal bests. 26:59, a new Canadian, and Club Record for Moh. 27:04 and third fastest American ever for Lopez. 6th and 7th overall, but 1-2 in our hearts. Great work boys!
