USAs Day 4: Men’s 1,500m Final ⠀ In the final event of the day, the #BowermanBros added two more podium finishes- bringing the final tally to eight on the day! Centro we all expected. He’s the titan of the event. He let Craig Engels get the inside position going into the final lap and just couldn’t quite overcome him in the final 100 meters of a thrilling race. ⠀ But JT... J.T.!!! Apart from danielhuling, who was telling anyone who would listen (not many, it is Dan after all) that JT was primed for a breakout, no one saw that huge last lap coming. He ran 51.9 with a 25 second final 200 even as he had to pass half the field in lane 2/3!! It was fantastic to see the newest #BowermanDad come through on the big stage after some struggles earlier in the year.
