A big thumbs up for the road action down in Eugene this past weekend! The sun was shining and the PRs were flowing. BTCers from our Elite, Masters, and Youth squads competed in the 5k, Half Marathon, and Marathon. Leading the way was btc_elite’s Patrick Richie who set a big 5 minute personal best in the Marathon at 2:19:16 and was oh-so-close to the Olympic Trials Standard! Orin Schumacher (1:10:47), Craig Godwin (1:12:18), and Orestes Gutierrez (1:14:48) led the way in the half marathon for our very strong Masters squad. Sarah Klecker ran 1:19:27 and 14 year old Kate Peters ran 1:16:56! It’s gotta be the hat 😉.
