Our back line got stronger today. 👊 We've agreed to a transfer with Cyprus' Apollon Ladies FC and signed defender Julia Lester to a two-year deal with an option for a third. Julia captained coach Kim Björkegren's title-winning team in Europe and made six UEFA Champions League appearances for Apollon Ladies. The Tampa, Fla., native played collegiately at the University of Florida, where she was an All-SEC selection in 2019. 🗣 “Being excited is an understatement,” she said of joining Racing. “I remember going to NWSL games when I was younger and being in awe.
