For those of you who don’t know. This is one my best buddies and teammates, Richard Perry. This August, Rich was involved in a bad accident during a team training camp in California. Before the accident, Rich was scheduled to be my training partner for this year’s World Championships in Budapest. We were supposed to be traveling together today: making our way to Germany where Rich would help me make my final preparations for competition. Sadly, as I hop on that plane today to head to Europe, Rich remains back home in Philly, working toward recovery. Still I know he’ll be showing his love and support from thousands of miles away.
