Cupertino’s own Ajaypal Singh (singhajaypal1) is amongst just a handful of Indian American hoopers to be playing HIGH level college basketball! FULL HIGHLIGHTS IN BIO The 6’6”, 200 pound forward had a terrific career at Cupertino HS, leading his squad to the CCS semifinals. He actually left the game for a year after graduating but then decided to join the squad at his community college, De Anza. There, he left a lasting imprint. During his sophomore campaign, he averaged 24.3 PPG, good for second in the STATE. After the breakout season, he signed with the Division II school, Notre Dame de Namur, and is now is in his first season with the program. He is averaging 15 PPG for the Argonauts as one of the two primary scorers. AJ is one of the few to have played college ball from Cupertino HS in recent years, with overseas pro Gokul Natesan (gokuln_) being the other standout player. More AJ highlights coming down the road!
