SKYLINE VS. CSM FULL HIGHLIGHTS IN BIO Both Walter Lum (walterxlum) and Jackie Luong (jackie.luong) were show stoppers for their respective high schools in SF as two of the area’s top Asian American guards. Now competing at the collegiate level (Skyline College and College of San Mateo), the high-flying guards battled in a down-to-the-wire game. But it was Mills alumni Colby Vasquez (colby_vazquez_33) who really stole the show, dropping 23 points, including clutch buckets down the stretch. Vasquez displayed prolific shooting but also the ability to muscle into the paint and score highly contested buckets. Down four with just over two minutes remaining, the Trojans went on a furious run, scoring eight straight and did not look back from there. There was a ton of Asian American talent on both ends to go along with Lum, Vasquez and Luong, including Pajri Samhi for Skyline and Bryant Jefferson and Taran Singh for CSM.
