Had to repost this from the great tommorello ・・・ After singing the 7th Inning Stretch with #ErnieBanks in 2014 shortly before he passed away I asked him, “What’s it gonna take for the Cubs to win the #WorldSeries?” He looked towards the heavens and wistfully smiled. I thought he meant Divine Intervention was our only hope. But as the tarp rolled out during Game 7, paving the way for the cubs first WS win in 108 years it dawned on me he might have meant “I just gotta get up to heaven, turn on the faucet at the right moment and finally bring home the W.” So thanks, Ernie, and happy birthday. #MrCub
