In 1993, Dr. Rob Brookey finished his M.A. in Communication at uarkansas in Fayetteville. He's pictured here with his mother outside of hugosfayetteville, the restaurant where he worked for six years while earning his B.A. and M.A. from #uark. The Hugo's building also had apartments on the 2nd floor and Dr. Brookey rented one. Three months after this photo was taken, Dr. Brookey hauled all of his belongings out of the building, loaded it into a van, and moved to #Minneapolis to start his Ph.D in Communication at umntwincities.⠀ ⠀ Today, Dr. Brookey leads our graduate program in Digital Storytelling and teaches classes in our undergraduate Media Promotion and Management concentration. Before coming to Ball State, he served on the faculty at Stonehill College, Arizona State University and Northern Illinois University.
