My mother, Susan Polis Schutz, is an accomplished writer, poet, and documentary filmmaker. Her newest documentary, "Bridging Divides, Sharing Heartbeats," promotes mutual understanding in highly divisive times. And yes that’s me on third base! Similar to our bipartisan #DisagreeBetter campaign, this documentary promotes listening and learning from one another and working through our differences to find solutions to the problems our world faces.
