Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic both started in AC Milan’s important Europa League quarterfinal second leg against fellow Serie A side Roma today. Unfortunately, despite playing with a man up since the 31st minute, they lost 2-1 on the night, 3-1 on aggregate. Musah and Pulisic were both substituted at the same time during the 69th minute when the score was 2-0. With this elimination from the Europa League, Milan are currently winless in their last three games. They face their two biggest rivals next— Inter and Juventus. After tonight’s game, Milan players had to face their ultras (Curva Sud) who traveled to Rome. The ultras shouted their dissatisfaction with recent performances, and also chanted “grow some balls” to Stefano Pioli’s squad. [Via Anthony Kyaw] #pulisic #yunusmusah #acmilan #usmnt #ussoccer
