TBT - OK, I’m in “Fanboy” mode here. There is something very special here. Over the years I have collected images of various World Champions wearing their special kit. But when you are also riding a bike trimmed in gold, that’s extra special. One of those rare moments to capture for a sports photographer. Fourteen years ago, I started my cycling photography adventure by covering local races. Back then I would have never dreamed of covering Team USA at an international event. Fast forward, 15+ National Championships, 3 World Championships and now a Pan American Track Cycling Championships. All the hard work has paid off. The people and athletes I’ve met. The friendships that literally span the globe. All from cycling. I am truly blessed. So yah, I don’t take an image like this lightly. Even if the significance is just between the athlete and me.
