"I received the Covid-19 vaccination to protect those who are more vulnerable to the virus than me. While my chances of surviving the virus are good, I do not know who I may encounter when going to the store, and want to ensure that I am not spreading the virus to those who could be harmed from getting the virus. Similarly, I desperately want things to return to normal and have a senior season of soccer.
