Marin is home to a special little place called Hippie Tree. 10.6 miles from campus, you arrive near Gilmartin Drive in Tiburon surrounded by several street parking spaces. Once you park, it's a short walk up the fire road. There's a path on the left that takes you to the beautiful eucalyptus. • • "The ambassador trip to Hippie Tree was one of my favorite memories from my freshmen year. It was my first real adventure while at Dominican. I couldn't believe how accessible it was. It was a short walk to a beautiful view with a swing hanging from a huge tree. It also wasn't too far from campus.
