We know now the melting point of polar ice caps is inevitable. What we have done in the industrial revolution and into the contemporary will lead to global ecological collapse. But we can do things and coalitions (Idle No More) are fighting to spread information and new policies. My deepest compassion for the environment specifically of the southwest United States nurtures my landscape painting.
