Open Sessions Artist 2016-18: Hong-An Truong⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “My projects begin with questions provoked by archival documents, objects, or facts, and their social existence and persistence as memory or material. Her work has been shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Whitechapel Gallery, London; and the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Open Sessions is a two-year program which provides opportunities for selected artists to contextualize work and ideas through exhibitions, public programs, and critical dialogue, organized by Rosario Güiraldes and Lisa Sigal, Open Sessions Curators.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #OpenSessionsTDC #HongAnTruong ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Image: Hong-An Truong, “Tell Me Terrible Things They Have Known," 2015.
