“Open Sessions 2018-20: What's Love Got to Do with It?" on-view through Sept 15 is the full-museum exhibition of the third cycle of The Drawing Center’s Open Sessions program - a two-year artists’ residency with thirty one participants from around the world. Featuring new work by Open Session artists, “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” will include works on paper, video, multimedia and sculpture, as well as installation, all of which place contemporary drawing at the center of an evolving conversation about love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ester Partegàs’s work uses a range of sculptural approaches including photography and text to look at how we consume, discard, and assign value.
